[Cubicweb] Reciprocal Relations

Thank you for the replies.
I am very interested in the semantic capability of Cubic Web to capture the nature of relationships among the ideas. I am currently using the instances I have to document the experience of using it. That then throws up ideas for things which I would like to do, which I am attempting to feed back as clearly as possible.
At the same time I am not familiar with all the internals of CubicWeb and bit by bit I am learning more.
I am therefore very interested in the comments you give which I can try out, and I am particularly interested in (3) below.

Actually there is only one relation, but it can be read both ways.

Let's take X parent Y
1/ you could create 'Y child X' using hooks
2/ you could simply fix the translation messages in order to display
'child' when the message says 'parent_object'.
I would use 2/, for maintaining consistency of 1/ is probably too much
work for what it buys you.
Or... wait for 3/ a rule system implemented in cubicweb
But 3/ is certainly not before version 4.0 is open for development
some time in early 2011 :)
