[Cubicweb] CubicWeb: 'system' instance on a server

Sounds a lot like

Have you tried creating your user 'aims', then configuring its
environment with 

	    CW_INSTANCES_DIR = ~/etc/cubicweb.d/
	    CW_INSTANCES_DATA_DIR = ~/etc/cubicweb.d/
	    CW_RUNTIME_DIR = /tmp

and running 'cubicweb-ctl' as 'aims'?

Or am I missing something?
